Independently owned, we weave together expertise supporting both large established brands and emerging, challenger start-ups. As a Digital Creative Director at Stone you'll lead our Amplify business to execute with creative excellence. The amplify team focuses on brand activation such as but not limited to content development as well as digital and shopper marketing. To begin DCD will integrate with creative team and support current Stone process for creative development. After immersion you'll be given a wide array of opportunities to refine process, evolve Stone's digital creative point of view as necessary, expand talent and client network, elevate creative and manage team.

Role Overview

  • Digital-first Creative Director’s key responsibility is to deliver strategic creative excellence for Amplify team by managing creative team and representing Creative work on behalf of Stone.
  • Foster, mentor, manage and grow creative team: take time to maximize the contribution of each team member, providing evaluation, mentorship, and training as needed.
  • Educate social/digital team on latest trends in motion graphics, design, photography and social brand development.
  • Evolve creative process as needed to ensure Stone stays at the cutting edge of digital and social technology.
  • Champion and defend creative work. Function as the final say on quality control, both in terms of creative impact and execution.
  • Work with PM and Producer to ensure creative team is supported holistically.
  • Bringing fresh creative/photo/video talent to the team to elevate the work. Bringing new talent and relationships to the table.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Lead pitch and onboarding for new clients.

Candidate Requirements

  • 5-10 years agency experience developing and creating for digital / social strategies and campaigns.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of creative leadership and people management experience.
  • Exceptional, diverse portfolio of digital creative.
  • Affinity for digital creative, mentorship and leadership for agency and client teams.
  • Ability to develop and defend strong agency POV as it pertains to the Stone branding positioning and our role in the digital space.
  • Ability to provide conceptual oversight and clear creative direction to internal team.
  • Social Platform Expertise: Ability to evolve Stone process and POV alongside the constant evolution of the digital ecosystem.
  • Experience in CPG preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in Art Direction from Concept Development through post production.
