As a Senior Brand Design Lead at Stone, you are a creative force and a people leader. You bring elevated craft, sharp strategic thinking, and a point of view to every project—while helping guide the growth of others on the team.

You’ll work across multiple brand engagements at once, partnering closely with strategists, creative directors, and fellow designers to push work conceptually and visually. At times you’ll lead projects end-to-end; at others, you’ll elevate work through mentorship, collaboration, and creative direction.

This role requires someone who can balance hands-on execution with leadership, who is curious about the business behind the brief, and who is invested in the long-term growth of Stone—our people, our clients, and our reputation.

Packaging experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

WHO YOU ARE

Responsibilities

  • Lead the ideation, design, and development of multiple brand projects simultaneously—setting creative direction while staying hands-on where it matters. Manage 3-5 projects seamlessly.
  • Collaborate deeply across disciplines to elevate work collectively, while confidently owning end-to-end deliverables when needed.
  • Set the bar for creative excellence—pushing the work, the thinking, and the team toward braver, smarter solutions.
  • Apply a refined, ever-evolving skillset across a range of brand challenges, balancing strategy, craft, and execution.
  • Stay ahead of design, cultural, and category trends relevant to key Stone accounts—bringing fresh perspective to every engagement.

Requirements

  • 6–9+ years of design experience, ideally within a branding or design agency
  • Degree in graphic design or a related field strongly preferred
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand thinking, concept development, and refined execution across a range of styles
  • Packaging experience preferred; understanding of print production and technical files a plus
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and an awareness of emerging design technologies
  • Strong point of view with the confidence to take smart creative risks
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from concept through final delivery, often under tight timelines
  • Passion for collaboration and mentorship
  • Comfort working from big-picture brand systems to detailed execution
  • AI & Illustration are a plus
  • Positive, flexible mindset with openness to feedback and growth
